A Weekend Fully Dedicated to Electric Mobility
On November 14–15, 2025, Bucharest–Muntenia hosted the Transylvania eClassic Grand Prix, a 100% electric vehicle event that brought together enthusiasts, professionals, and companies committed to advancing electromobility in Romania. Over two days, participants competed on some of the most spectacular and scenic roads around the capital in a regularity competition, where efficiency, precision, and strategy make all the difference.

Eldrive Romania was superbly represented by the crew of Ștefania Cojocaru (driver) and George Costache (co-driver), a member of our digitalization team.

The Eldrive crew competed in a Geely EX5, an electric model noted for efficiency, stability, and well-managed range during the regularity stages. The modern electric crossover is equipped with a single 160 kW (218 HP) motor and a 60.22 kWh LFP battery, offering a WLTP range of over 420 km according to the manufacturer. The model supports fast charging up to 95–160 kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in approximately 7 seconds, making it an efficient and reliable vehicle for the competition.

🚗⚡ A Spectacular Route on Day 2
The main stage of the competition led participants along the route:
Hotel Caro → Snagov Monastery → Casa Vlăsia → Hogarti Exclusive
A calm, partly forested route, ideal for a regularity competition highlighting the spirit of electric mobility: clean, silent, efficient, and focused on the joy of driving.
Among the participants was the Vampire Racing Team, starting with a Ford Puma Gen-E, produced in Romania and provided by Roadhill Automotive – Ford Dealer Bucharest, a proud moment for the local automotive industry.
