The development of high-power charging infrastructure is becoming an essential factor for the electrification of commercial fleets and heavy transport.
Within the Green Transport & Logistics Conference, an event dedicated to the future of mobility and the transformation of the transport sector, Elena Mandache, Group Brand Director at Eldrive, presented Eldrive’s perspective on the evolution of the e-mobility market, the challenges and opportunities in the HDV (Heavy-Duty Vehicles) segment, as well as the importance of high-power charging networks for the development of electric transport.
The discussions during the event highlighted that the electrification of heavy transport requires an integrated approach, in which charging infrastructure plays a central role. For electric fleets and next-generation trucks to operate efficiently, there is a need for fast, reliable charging networks adapted to the specific requirements of commercial transport.
In this context, Elena Mandache emphasized the importance of infrastructure as a key element in the evolution of electric mobility:
“The future of electric heavy transport will not be determined only by the performance of trucks, but by the power and availability of the charging network that keeps them moving.”
At Eldrive, the development of charging infrastructure is one of the main strategic directions. The company continues to invest in expanding a modern network designed to meet both the current requirements of commercial fleets and the future needs driven by the growing number of electric trucks.
