On September 12-13, 2025, in Ghimbav, in the heart of Țara Bârsei, the event Transylvania eClassic – Ghimbav Țara Bârsei took place, part of the Transylvania Classic series. It was an excellent opportunity for enthusiasts of electric and classic cars, offering not only a spectacular display of vehicles but also moments of socializing, test drives, charging sessions, and relaxation amidst mountain landscapes.
Event Program
In an atmosphere full of energy and enthusiasm, participants gathered in Ghimbav, the starting point of an electrifying adventure through Țara Bârsei. The first day began with a departure from the heart of the town, from the Ghimbav Town Hall parking lot, and the route led them to a very special destination: Kálnoky Castle in Micloșoara. Here, after the arrival of the first cars, the perfect setting was created for a first meeting, concluded with a classical music concert that added an air of elegance and refinement to the evening.
The second day again started from the Ghimbav Town Hall parking lot, from where participants headed to a refreshing coffee break at Matca Hotel, a place known for its welcoming atmosphere. Continuing the adventure, the journey led to a longer lunch stop at Wolkendorf Bio Hotel & Spa, where relaxation and gastronomy combined harmoniously, offering a well-deserved break after the kilometers traveled.
As the day approached its end, the first car returned to the starting point in Ghimbav, where the atmosphere was charged with excitement and anticipation. At the end of the day, all participants gathered for the announcement of results and the awards ceremony at Hotel R&K Ghimbav, thus concluding two days filled with passion for electric cars, spectacular landscapes, and new friendships.
Impressions about the Lynk & Co 02
We started from Bucharest with about 60% charge, which added a bit of adventure — it was a real test of the car’s range and charging efficiency. We made a stop at La Strada Brașov to eat while the car was charging — a welcome moment of relaxation and conversation, especially since we met with friends from Tesla Happy Owners Romania.
The Lynk & Co 02 proved to be very suitable for such trips: comfortable, efficient, and pleasant to drive over long distances. I especially appreciated the good range, stability in curves, and the consumption that did not disappoint.
